We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our technology sales team. This role is focused on generating new business opportunities by identifying, qualifying, and developing inbound and outbound leads. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of data center and end point software and hardware infrastructure technology solutions, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving growth.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and prospect new business opportunities through research, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
- Qualify leads and set appointments.
- Understand and articulate the company’s technology products and services to potential clients.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to refine messaging and go-to-market strategies.
- Attend industry events, webinars, and conferences to generate leads and expand the company’s presence.
- Meet or exceed quarterly KPIs and revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of experience in IT specific business development, sales, or a similar customer-facing role in the commercial and SLED markets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Connectwise).
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email automation tools, and cold outreach strategies is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience selling IT Infrastructure, SaaS, cloud services, or IT solutions.
- Technical aptitude to understand and explain complex solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales or pipeline targets.
